The idea is simple. We use a bacterium thriving in the upper layers of the ocean. It feeds on CO₂ from the atmosphere and is powered by H₂ that bubbles up constantly from the ocean floor.

As a miracle of efficiency, it has developed a metabolism that can convert carbon dioxide at unmatched speed into biomass which contains about 70% pure protein.

This protein is perfectly suited to feed fish, shrimps and poultry, and may even be used in veggieburgers.

We produce it by continuous fermentation, very similar to the way beer is brewed. The carbon dioxide origins from cement and fertilizer factories, breweries, and other production sites emitting CO₂.

Our first product will be fish feed.
